Mailbox Madness

Just a taste of the mailbox freebies I got this month!

This was an awesome one! All these coupons came in one thing. It was a survey I filled out for Shopper's Voice. It came with some freebie coupons too!

This week's deals!

Publix:
This total is distorted some because of the Accu-check meters but I still saved a bunch o money!
Total OOP:$20.22
Total Savings:$283.16
Coupons used :$62.25
I am not going to do a breakdown but I had $9.99 off the meters and they were on sale for $9.99 and I bought three. Normally they are around $60-$70 this is what made my savings look so high. Because of this if I would have had the $10/$50 purchase coupons from Winn Dixie I would have paid either $10.22 or just $0.22. I haven't been to WD in forever so darn it if I didn't have any stinking coupons. Oh well $20 isn't bad for all this right?

Walmart: FREE Ice cream sandwiches!
Ok I have been reading on most of my blogs about this Blue Bunny coupon and didn't really pay attention to it. Then I found out that it is a $1 coupon and they have these huge single serve ice cream sandwiches ant Wally world so I signed right up and they don't even have a limit on how many you can print! Go here to get your coupons!

I recently complained to this manager about the experience I had with Walgreens and the whole register reward issue and he said he was advised that if the coupon scans they were to take it even if it was expired! Awesome I really do think CVS needs their own "EASY" button. It is so much easier to go there than WAGS. I do like WAGS especially with their great deals but their system needs a serious update!
On that note, the manager from the store where I had the issue with his assistant about only being allowed to get one item a week that gives RR finally called me back. He was really nice and apologized for his assistant acting the way he did. He said they were working with him to correct the situation. I told him that was all I wanted but he offered a $20 GC as well as the Thermacare I returned when all this originally went down. I accepted of course but not without making sure he knew I was not trying to get people in trouble but just that I would like them to be aware. So off I went and the card has already been used! Surprise surprise!

Wags trip #1-GRRRR!(different store Nancy oh Nancy come back from vacation!)

I used $4.50 in RR and my gift card to pay but the stinkin RR did not print.
The manager took them back and came back with these rebate forms to send off to get my RR. I filled out the forms and it says it takes 6-8 weeks! Why couldn't she just give me a gift card or rering them? I am so over WAGS!
WAGS trip#2
Yes I am a glutton for punishment but I had the other GC from the awful transaction at the beginning of this month.

3 Goldfish 3/$3
Posture D $8.99
Paid $6.79 on GC and .70 in cash and...

Got back :$11 RR

And the reason this doesn't add up IS! A lousy manager! Well not exactly but...

I also purchased Thermacare wraps at $5.99 thinking I would get $3 RR back. I also used a $3 printable for this that was not taken off my total. When I went back to check the sign to make sure I go the right one because the RR DID NOT print I discovered that the RR sign was covered up by the weekly sale sign and when I looked under it it said I had to buy advil too to get the RR. I decided since I didn't need Advil and I didn't get my coupon taken off that I would just return it. Well what was I thinking? The manager came over and began to lecture me about how I shouldn't have gotten the RR that I did and that now I am only allowed one transaction per week that would print a RR. If I were to get more he was instructed to rip up the RR. He said "it says it right there in the ad" Which it does not of course it just says one per transaction. He then went on to tell me that it was coupon fraud and all but accused me of it and people come in to several stores and clear the shelves and that the manufacturer is losing out because people like me are making money off it. I was very calm and told him that this was ridiculous and that they would be losing a lot of business if this was true. FYI I did email WAGS corporate and have not received a response yet. There is no way this is true for obvious reasons, I mean what is he gonna do monitor everyone that walks in his store and everything they buy? Honestly I have had very few issues up until this point but this trip was highly disappointing and I said I would not be back. At least to that store anyway:) How about you? Have you had any ridiculous stories in WAGS or anywhere else?

I was then refunded my $5.99 and given back my $ 3.00 printable which left my

There are no words

Need some snacks? I cleaned out my pantry because it was getting a little hairy in there. This is just snacks and I now know what a problem I have. A lot of this is Easter,Valentines, and Christmas candy but some is also free or almost free stuff, fillers, and just general junk. I was just going to go through it and make a donate pile and generally organize it. It covered my entire kitchen table and that's not including what you don't see as it is stacked and a bunch of it is hiding underneath. Now if you will excuse me I think I am going to be sick.

A Whole Lotta Shopping

Its been another busy week!

Target:
4lbs apples
used (4)-$1 off lb TQ
2 Toddler tshirts $2.80 each
3 Quaker Granola snacks .99 each
used (3) -$1 off Quaker TQ
used $5 GC
Total OOP: $0.85

CVS:
2 Zooth toothbrushes $1.99 each
used BOGO MQ
got $2 ECB
2 CVS nuts
used $2/2 CVS nuts CRT
I did this transaction in two different stores and both times the cashier took off $3.19 for the toothbrushes and I can't figure out why. The coupon doesn't even state a max amount like maybe they just typed that in so maybe it was how it scanned. Weird, anyway it put me into a negative balance which I also didn't think was possible so I added the snickers and M&M's for DD.
Total OOP: $0.16
$2 ECB back

Same as above only I added the Aleve Cold and sinus without a coupon I might add but this stuff is phenomenal. DD was with me so more candy was bought
Total OOP: $0.57
used $9.98 ECB
BOGO MQ $3.19
got $1 ECB because I had already used a Crest ECB for toothpaste earlier in the week.

WAGS:
This transaction seemed ok at the time but I realized when I got home that the cashier missed a $2 MQ and I put two Ecotrin in one transaction and only got rewards for one. I was initially going to do two transaction but they didn't have any Bayer Crystals so I just threw it all together in one not thinking.
Also the Carefree was a great deal and I didn't have any coupons for it with me so I just said oh well I will get it anyway. I got home to find the coupons I had for it were expired anyway.
2 Bayer Heart Advantage $1.69 each
Carefree 60 pack $1.09
2 Ecotrin $2 Each
Nivea $4.99
Used:
-$1 Nivea MQ
(2) -$2 Bayer MQ (she forgot one but it was overage so I wrote it off)
Then I used $8 RR
Total OOP: $4.88 (I returned one of the Ecotrin for $2 the next day so my adjusted total was $2.88)
Got back: $7 RR

I am missing a few transactions and pictures because I have been sick and so tired but most are just repeats of WAGS.
